The Forget Me Not Post is a monthly snail mail club, designed to bring you closer to our homestead through creativity, imagination and a lot of heart.
What to Expect:
• 5×7 Postcard - each postcard will feature a unique, homemade piece of art made right here on the homestead. Some weeks it might be a vintage tintype taken by Elise, others a drawing handcrafted by Ben. Keep it for yourself, send it to a friend, frame it. Choose your own adventure!
• Heartfelt Letter - we love writing our newsletter every other week, and we’re excited to have actual snail mail to send. We’ll highlight what’s going on here at home, including seasonal specialties and inspiration. This will not be a repeat of the newsletter.
• Recipe Card - we’re excited to provide some of our favorite recipes in card format, so that you can save them for years to come. Each card will feature a sketch and, of course, a detailed recipe!
• Something from the Homestead - this is going to be a surprise every month, and that’s half the fun. Maybe you’ll get a packet of dehydrated sourdough starter, maybe a packet of seeds. We’ll be inspired by what’s going on here on the farm and send it your way.
• The Occasional Sticker - we can’t promise that we’ll have a sticker every issue, but don’t be surprised if you see one here and there. Ben is the sticker king!
How It Works:
We’ll send out each issue during the first week of the month with a stamp via the USPS. (No tracking) Shipping is included in your monthly cost.
Join by the last day of the month to receive the following month’s issue.
Our next issue will be sent out the first week of July.
PLEASE NOTE: Shipping from Alaska is the ultimate form of snail mail. It moves at a glacial pace. Allow at least three weeks for mail to arrive before checking in.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We currently ship within the U.S., Canada, and select international destinations with reliable postal service—including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain, Italy, Japan, and Singapore—and hope to expand to more countries in the future. When will I receive my letter?
We send out our letters during the first week of every month. We are in Alaska, so shipping times can vary. Most subscribers should receive their letter within two weeks. For international subscribers, it may take up to 6 weeks.
Help! My letter never arrived!
Oh no! While the USPS says First Class mail should take 3-5 business days, it seems letters move at a glacial pace here in Alaska. Please allow at least three weeks before reaching out. If it still hasn’t arrive by then, send us an email at hello@discoverthewilds.com and we’ll do right by you. If a letter bounces back, we’ll contact you to ensure the address is correct and resend. If all else fails, we’ll issue you a refund for the month.
Help! My letter arrived damaged!
Oh no! Send us an email at hello@discoverthewilds.com with your name and photos of the damage, and we’ll send you a new issue.
What if I need to change my address?
To ensure we capture your address change, please send us an email directly at hello@discoverthewilds.com. You can also access your Squarespace Customer Portal and change it there, but we recommend sending us an email so it’s not missed.
